Losing heat or cooling entirely is one of the more stressful situations a household can run into. We bump these calls to the front of the line to get your Camas, WA home back to a safe, livable temperature as quickly as we can.
There's a real difference between a system that's underperforming and one that's stopped entirely. A complete failure can put everyone in the house at risk, especially when outdoor temperatures are extreme. In winter, that means pipes at risk of freezing; in summer, it means indoor temperatures that can climb to dangerous levels fast.
Given what's at stake, we handle these calls with a different level of urgency than a standard maintenance visit, and schedule them accordingly.
A total shutdown can trace back to something as simple as a tripped breaker, or something more involved like a failed compressor, a cracked heat exchanger, or a serious electrical fault. Our technicians follow a structured diagnostic process so the real cause gets found quickly, without missing something that could resurface later.
We walk you through exactly what caused the failure and lay out your repair options plainly, covering both the immediate fix and anything worth planning for down the road.
As soon as we've pinpointed the problem, we move straight into repair whenever parts and access allow, with the goal of getting your heat or cooling back on during that same visit when possible. If a part has to be ordered in, we'll give you a realistic timeline and suggest whatever steps can help in the meantime.
Throughout it all, our focus stays on cutting down the time your household goes without a safe, comfortable home.
Start with your thermostat settings and your breaker panel, then give us a call so we can help zero in on the likely cause before a technician even arrives.
Often, yes. Some repairs need a specific part on hand, which can add time, but we'll be upfront about the timeline once we've diagnosed what's wrong.
Yes, we move these calls ahead of routine work given how urgent they are, and pricing reflects that priority response.
